The Landmarks Preservation Commission must approve proposed construction alterations to the interior or exterior of landmarks. Related features, such as fences and sidewalks, also require approval. The City may issue warnings, violations, and fines for work performed without a permit.

Include in your report, if possible:

  • The type of work being done
  • The floor where work is being done
  • The name of the landmark
  • If a permit is posted
