Smart City Testbed Program

The Smart City Testbed Program helps city agencies pilot new and emerging technologies by partnering them with applicant companies and academic groups. This program is housed within NYC’s Office of Technology and Innovation.

Applicants accepted into the program will:

Get help with the piloting process
Get their technology properly situated in the city’s built environment
Be able to demonstrate the capability of their product or service in front of City stakeholders
Be able to test their product or service in New York City's streets, buildings, parks, and other unique environments
